Primary School Sport

All school sports programs begin at the School Level. These activities include:

House competitions
School sports days
Inter school competitions
State sporting organisations 'come and try days' and coaching clinics
Modified sport activities

On the Territory Level in the ACT:

Primary School Carnivals and Round Robin events between ACT districts in a wide variety of sports

On the national level exchange teams compete in the following sports:

Australian Football
Basketball
Cricket
Cross Country
Diving
Hockey
Netball
Rugby League
Soccer
Softball
Swimming
Tennis
Touch
Track and Field

On the international level ACT competitors have gained representation in Australian Schools representative teams and merit teams through their participation at Australian School Sports Council Events.

The Pacific School Games is held every four years and attracts representatives from all over Australia and International competitors from other countries such as Bulgaria, South Africa and Asia Pacific Region.
